    Whether you like it or not, winter is on it's way. For many of us, that means snow is coming as well. When the weather turns, there's SNOW time for cold feet. Which is why winter snow boots are a must have if you live where the wind blows, and the white stuff falls!

    I don't hate snow. To me, the first snow fall is always dreamy and romantic. I love to take Liam out and ride sleds down the hill. But that's it. After that, I want it gone. But no matter how you feel about that white, cold stuff, if you live where it falls, then you need snow boots. I just got Liam this pair of Gubarun Snow Boots. Their super warm and he loves the camo coloring on them.

     This pair of boots is so comfy. The inside is plush and covered with a faux fur lining. This keeps toes and feet toasty warm! The outside of the boots is waterproof, so not only will feet be warm, but they'll be dry too! As a mom, I'm a fan of the tread. I don't want my son slipping on icy and snowy surfaces. So I was impressed with the nice traction that the tread on these boots provides. They also have hook and look closures, so there's no need for tying. This was huge for us because even though Liam can tie shoes, he struggles with it due to his fine motor skills.

    I'm lucky enough to have small feet. Which means I can fit into Liam's pair of Gubarun boots too. I tried them on and they are so soft and squishy on my feet. I love them so much that I think I will have to get myself a pair. Even though we moved South, we will still get some snow, so I'm going to want a warmer pair of boots for the winter.

Raising Autism Awareness Wherever We Go

    Ahh the good ol' days. Or were they? They days when Liam was younger and newly diagnosed. Meltdowns were around every corner. He had to touch EVERYTHING in sight to fulfill his sensory needs. I started only wearing autism awareness clothing because I was so tired of the stares and the comments. I was tired of verbally educating.

     Now that he's older, and "graduated" from virtually every therapy at our disposal, we don't raise as much unwanted awareness. However, we still like to don autism themed clothing. We do so to show our support for fellow autism families. To let another, newly diagnosed family know that, we "get it," we won't judge. To let the world know that it's okay to be different, and to embrace those differences.

    I was on Etsy last week and I came across ArtsyAndInfamous. When I saw their "Dare to Be Yourself," Autism Awareness tee I knew Liam had to have one. First of all, it has skeletons. He loves them. Secondly the autistic one is doing the dab. Liam dabs everywhere, all the time. Not to mention that, daring to be oneself is a lesson that everyone can live by. One we should strive to instill in our children. Because after all, if everyone were comfortable being different, then bullying others may just disappear. (We can hope, right?)

    The Neon Pink Wool Dobby Dress I chose, came just in time for Easter! On good Friday it was here and my husband took it over for my niece. I immediately sent my sister in law images and she couldn't wait to see it in person. My niece loved it, as did my sister!

    The color is beautiful and so on point with the bright colors that are in right now. The pearls around the waist are the perfect touch. Oh, and did I mention, it has flounce? There's crinoline type lining underneath so the lower portion has some flair.

    With the v neckline and the pearls, it reminds me of an up to date dress that Audrey Hepburn would wear today. It's absolutely gorgeous. I may be bias but my niece looks so beautiful in it!
