Ryan Friday!

I am so happy its Ryan Friday!!!! This last week has been so busy for us (more than normal)  Between me being sick, hubby's realization that his new surgery is in a few weeks, and LJ having a rough week with meltdowns over missing his brother, it was great to take a few minutes and join in on the fun, instead of worrying about what else may land on our plate!

So here it is, my Ryan Gosling poster for this week. Enjoy ladies :) (and Jim too :))

Like it? Don't forget to head over to Sunday's blog to see more of Ryan...

  1. do you find that something will happen that it all kind of hits you again that Liam is on the spectrum? We did his IEP Wednesday and they are telling me all the things they are going to do for him. And we had the meeting in the Autism classroom and it hits me again that Zach is on the spectrum. Honestly I have only cried once because to me it was a relief. I finally had a name and reason for the behavior. But for whatever reason it hit me again on Wednesday. I am sorry Liam is missing his brother. That really sucks. I am really excited that he wants to go to school. I think he will like it at a school that can meet his needs. Ya know if you need to talk or anything let me know

    1. i have to say that yes, when we were first told Aspergers I cried, it was a big shock. Then that quack tried telling me he was wrong and it was just ADHD, my gut and heart said no. So in following that and getting the new diagnosis of autism, even though I knew it to be true, I was still a bit shell shocked, and yes, I cried quietly on the way home. I do not love him any less, I guess I just fear what the future may hold for him, and God forbid, what if something happens to me, then what will happen to him, ya know. I think grieving is natural, Autism of any sort is a "life sentence" so to speak. No, its not the end of the world, and yes, our children are gifts from God, but I never wanted him to have so many struggles in life. All we can do, is take it day by day, and love them with all that we have :)

  2. Zach told me again yesterday how easy school is and how it is so boring. He tells me I need to be challenged mom not stuck in a room full of idiots. What do I do? Just not sure.

    1. ha ha ha. Well, I would definitely talk to the teacher or even have Erin step in. He obviously needs to be challenged more...

Jello - yes that would be some nice sensory input, wouldn't it? ;)

  5. Jello and Ryan is enough to cheer any girl up. I hope you're feeling better soon and the meltdows are on their way out the door!

  6. I hate mixing food with sex--I have major sensory problems of my own. But I might just have to rethink my policy if Ryan were offering....

  7. Not a big fan of jello, even with Ryan. But chocolate pudding and whipped cream is a whole nother story...
