Holiday Fun with Goliath Games and Pressman Toys

Liam got a special delivery on Christmas Eve. A GINORMOUS box, chock full of fun from Goliath Games and Pressman Toys. Let me just say, our first Christmas in our new home was a blast!

Holiday Fun with Goliath Games and Pressman Toys

We have a long standing tradition in our family, which is to spice up Christmas Eve by playing games. It's something we have done since I was a teenager living at home. Then when we started to host Christmas Eve, we carried that on and did it at our house. Just because we moved a few states away from family earlier this fall, didn't mean that that tradition had to end. Our night was still filled with love, tons of laughter, and even a few wet faces! Let me explain!

Hydro Strike Win or Get Wet

Let me just say that my ribs still hurt from laughing! This game was so much fun! Remember pinball games? Well Pressman Toys took the fun of pinball and added an element of surprise. Water! In Hydro Strike, players compete to hit their opponents target five times to win. Each time you hit their target, your opponent gets a squirt of water in their face. It's hysterical. First Liam and I played it, then my hubby jumped in with me. It was so satisfying watching that stream of water hit Pat in the face. However, while I was laughing, he would score and then spray me in the face.

Googly Eyes

One of Liam's favorite holiday games was always the drawing game we played as a family. Well Goliath Games put a new spin on it with Googly Eyes. This drawing game has the coolest "googly eye" goggles that the person drawing has to wear. It makes it so you can't really see what you're drawing. Which makes the game so much funnier. It comes with three different lenses. You roll the dice, and move your piece on the game board. Where you land will tell you which lenses to put into your goggles. Then pick a card, and get drawing!

Stuff Happens....So Make the Best of It

Let's face it, Stuff Happens. We either cry about it, or have a good chuckle. In this new card game Stuff Happens, players read hysterical cards of bad stuff that happens. Read the cards, and guess which card is worse than the other. Then rate it on the Misery Index. If you guess correctly ten times, you win! This laugh a minute game is PG-13 friendly, so the older kids and adults are going to love it!

Mastermind - The Game of Coding and Guessing

Mastermind Remastered is the game of coding and guessing. First, the Codemaker creates a code that they think can't be broken in ten moves or less. Then the Codebreaker tries to break said code in ten or fewer moves. Can you do it? Grab the game and find out.

These are just a handful of amazing games from Goliath Games and Pressman Toys. You need to head to their website to see them all.

Launch Your Kids into a Fishing Frenzy

We are a family that loves to fish. However, if you've yet to catch the bug, the Rocket Fishing Rod will launch your kids into a frenzy. It's a super fun, and safer way for kids to catch a big one!

Launch Your Kids into a Fishing Frenzy

Whether or not your kids love to fish, or you want to expose them to how much fun it is, the Rocket Fishing Rod is perfect. Much easier to cast that traditional rods, it launches their line up to thirty feet into the water. All you do is cock it, and shoot. The bobber launches their line, hook and bait, right into the water.

Safer Than Traditional Poles

If you're worried about having your kids try to fish because of the danger of the fishing hook, then the Rocket Fishing Rod can set your mind at ease. The bobber actually holds the hook and the bait INSIDE. Once it hits the water, it opens up, and the line with their hook and bait drops down to wait for a fish to gobble it up.

This is so much safer than having young children cast a line and hook all willy nilly into the water. Since the sharp hooks are encased inside the bobber, no one is going to the hospital with a hook in their body.

Fish On!

So if you're thinking that this thing can't possibly work, then think again! The very first time my son launched his Rocket Fishing Rod, he caught a fish. I kid you not, the hook no longer released from the bobber, and he had a sunfish on his line. He reeled it in with ease, and being a seasoned fisherman, removed it from the hook, and launched back out into the pond. Liam caught a bunch of panfish that evening.

He was having so much that we decided to drop our regular poles and give the Rocket Fishing Rod a try. Both myself and my husband were catching fish with it too. We both agree it's easier for kids to maneuver, and they will have a blast!

Blast Off For Family Game Night

Are you ready to blast off for family game night? If so, then we have the perfect game for you.

Blast Off for Family Game Night

Summer and fireworks go together like winter and sledding. Goliath Games new game Pop Rocket makes the premise of fireworks safe and fun for the entire family. Grab this super fun game, gather your kids, and get ready for an evening of explosive fun!

Pop Rocket

Pop Rocket is sure to make your kids squeal. Fill it with all of the stars, pull the fuse and wait for it to explode. (Have no fear, it's not a dangerous "explosion." When the top pops up, a shower of safe stars come out.) When it does, the stars will shoot out. The player that catches the most stars of their color, wins the game. Then just collect all the stars, refill Pop Rocket, pull the fuse, and wait for more fun!

Schools Out for Summer

For most, school is out for summer. That means in about five seconds, you will hear, "I'm bored. There's nothing to do. Mom! He/She is touching me." Just wait for it. Or, grab some fun games from Goliath Games, and give the kids something to do. They have fun things to do for all ages. From games, and puzzles, to outdoor toys. There's something for everyone, and a great way to beat summer boredom, and spend less time on devices.

Slime!

Liam is all about slime. When he saw that Goliath Games has the Dr. Toxic Slime Lab he was stoked. In this lab kids can create slime and experiment with tension and elasticity. For those that seek sensory input, it's therapy made fun! Check it out!

You can shop all of the fun at Goliath Games.

More Fun From Goliath Games

We just got some more fun from Goliath Games. Liam was stoked because they came just in time for Friday Family Game Night! These games brought tons of giggle and even better, they helped us to work on our hand eye coordination. Let's take a look!

More Fun From Goliath Games

We're always on the look out for new games to add to our repertoire. I really love hands on ones that aren't just fun, but also help my son work on things like his fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and so on. That's part of the reason I was happy when I saw the games Liam pulled out of the box.

He got Doggy Doo, Let's Go Fishing, and Mr. Bucket. These classic games have been fun for generations of kids, and now your kids can enjoy them too. Doggy Doo is better than ever, so let's break them down!

The All New Doggy Doo

In all honesty, I never got Liam the original Doggy Doo game because it was too messy. My friend had it for her kids and he played with them, and if you remember the old game, you'll remember the mess. That's no longer an issue because Goliath Games made some much needed changes.

The all new Doggy Doo game is better than ever, and MESS FREE! You now feed doggy a food pellet that isn't messy and much easier to use! The game also teaches kids responsibility in a funny way. When Doggy Doos they scoop it up with the doo shovel, and place it in the game receptacle. I love how Goliath Games is teaching our kids to clean up after their fur family!

Liam loves the fart cards and he laughs every time Doggy toots! It really is hysterical. He also enjoys that Doggy looks like his sweet Josie Joy! Your kids are going to have a blast with this game, and since there's no mess, its a win win for you!

Let's Go Fishin' (Inside!)

One of our most beloved past times is fishing. However, it's not something we can do at the moment. (Roll on Spring!) Since we can't fish at our favorite ponds, we can now fish right in our living room. Let's Go Fishin' is the classic from our childhood. Cute little fish swim around in the pond, and kids have to catch them on their poles.

As it spins the fish open and close their mouths, and kids have to get their poles in there at the right time to land that whopper! It comes with four poles, and hours of fun.

This game is perfect for working on their hand eye coordination in a fun and engaging way. It's prefect for the home, classroom, or even therapy clinic. You can also use it to teach your child colors, and simple addition too. But best of all, you can spend time laughing and having fun as a family!

Good Ol' Mr. Bucket!

Goliath Games and Pressman Toy bring us the classic Mr. Bucket game. Kids chase Mr. Bucket around and try to get all of their colored balls in his mouth. But beware, as he moves, he also spits the balls back out!

This game is perfect for getting the sillies and wiggles worked out in kids. (Or as I like to call it, Operation Wear Them Out.) It teaches kids colors, and work on their fine motor skills, as well as their hand eye coordination. However, they just think they're behaving a blast!

More Fun From Goliath Games

These are just a few of the awesome games that Goliath games has for you and your family. With Easter coming, make sure you check them out. Fill their baskets with good old fashioned family fun!

Friday Fun for Family Game Night

In our house Friday is Family Game Night. (We also have other game nights, like if we visit my parents or something, but Friday is ALWAYS game night!) Recently we got a bunch of fun new games from Goliath Games. We want to share them with you and hope you'll join in on the fun, and our Friday Family Game Nights.

Friday Fun for Family Game Night

Goliath Games sent us four new games, and my son was so excited. When FedEx dropped off a giant box he was flapping for all he was worth! He opened the box and screeched because he saw what was inside. Waiting for him was Pop the Pig, Giggle Wiggle, Jumping Jack, and Build or Boom. Let's break each one down, because they're all amazing!

Jumping Jack is Perfect for Easter or Any Time!

When Liam first saw Jumping Jack he said, "Look mom! An Easter Bunny game!" This game is adorable. Basically it's a little bunny that could hop off at any time! Each player gets a basket, and you put all of the carrots in the base. On their turn, the player spins, then removes the number of carrots as directed on the spinner. But beware, Jack is waiting to hop off and make your kids giggle! Here's Jumping Jack in action:

(Their reactions were so cute and funny, that I compiled a bunch of them to share. They played Jumping Jack for about an hour, and I could have kept going with the giggles I recorded!)

Pop the Pig

One of Liam's BFF's big O came up to try out these new Goliath Games. Pop the Pig was his choice to play because he has it at his grandma's. The kids really enjoyed seeing how my the pig could "eat." This one is perfect for kids about four and up. It helps to teach them numbers and counting. As a mom, I love how all of the game pieces fit right inside the pig for easy storage. It also helps minimize the chance of them getting lost. Let's take a look at the boys stuffing the piggy!

Giggle Wiggle

Okay, so this game is adorable. But more importantly, as a special needs mom, I think it's amazing at working those fine motor skills. If you have a child that struggle with their motor skills, then Giggle Wiggle will be a great addition to your home. (If you work as a therapist then it would be a great tool for your clinic too!)

Each player gets a set of marbles and chooses one area of arms to use. You turn on the worm, and the kids have to race to be the first to get all of their colored marbles onto their set of arms. But beware, the worm spins and wiggles! If your marble falls off, you have to pick it up and put it back on. Kids have a blast, and I loved knowing my son was working on his fine motor skills. Let's see it in action:

Build or Boom

This STEM game helps build analytical thinking and shape recognition. Kids will have fun playing, but you'll feel good knowing their working on expanding much needed skills.

The boss is looking for the best and fastest builder. Builders compete by following the blueprint and creating the building. But be careful! When the boom goes off, will your building collapse, or hold up?

Here's a video of Build or Boom in action from Goliath Games:
