Marvel Universe Live Will Blow You Away!

Last night we had the privilege to attend opening night of Marvel Universe Live at the Mohegan Sun Arena. I expected it to be awesome, but believe it or not, it blew my expectations away!

Marvel Universe Live Will Blow You Away!

This live show is jam packed with excitement! From fire dancing, to fireworks, aerial acrobatics, dirt bikes and more. All showcasing some of our favorite Marvel heroes! The Avengers are there! Good ol' Cap, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Thor, Spidey, Black Panther, Wasp, the Hulk, and more!

The Guardians of the Galaxy are there to help too! Starlord, Gamora, Rocket, Drax, and Groot, team up to help the Avengers save the universe from evil!

Loki, Nebula, Yondu, Green Goblin, Black Cat, and more are trying to stop our favorite heroes! But when heroes team up, they can't be brought down....or can they?

Marvel and Feld Entertainment Brought the House Down

In true Marvel fashion, the heroes and villains were amazing! Watching them perform real life stunts, right in front of your eyes, that you expect to only see in movies, is jaw dropping! Marvel Universe Live is like a movie playing out just yards from you. Feld Entertainment does a fantastic job of making you feel like you're watching a live movie.

Action you can see, hear, and FEEL!

Yes! In this show you will feel Groot walk! You will feel the power of Thor's mighty hammer. Every action packed moment sends shock waves through the floors, and it's truly something to marvel.  <-- see what I did there?

Safety is Important

Being an autism family, we experience things differently than most. One of my son's major concerns was safety. He wouldn't attend a live WWE match last year because he was afraid of someone bombing it. (We don't watch the news with him in the room because of those fears.)

When we approached the West gate, the security team was there. They checked my purse, and ran the metal detecting wands over all of us. My son and his bestie were nervous, but when we explained that it was for our safety, they were okay with it. They even both thanked the security crew for "keeping us safe," as we walked away. Autism win for the night!

The show is loud. So if your child(ren) has auditory sensitivities, then bring some noise cancelling ear muffs. We brought some, but both boys refused them. Only once did I see O cover his ears. I think they were too engaged and in awe.

Mohegan Sun Arena Outdid Themselves!

I want to take a moment and thank Ruth Corcoran and Mohegan Sun Arena. These wonderful folks gave us a night we will never forget! Ruth went above and beyond to help my son create a lasting memory. His bestie too! (We were planning on taking our older son, but Liam wanted his bestie to talk part. So being a great big brother, Bran gave his ticket to O.)

Ruth, you were walking away when Liam got the courage to say, "thank you ma'am!" He also wanted you to know, "I feel like I'm a VIP!" You helped us give him an experience above anything we ever could have. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I can't begin to express what your kindness and generosity meant to us. All I can say is, it's something none of us will ever forget.

(He's been running around the house all day, in his Captain America gear you gave him! O didn't want to take his spidey gear off last night either! So thank you so very much for all of that too!)

Don't Miss Out!

You can catch Marvel Universe Live six more times at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza! There's a show tonight at 7 pm. You can enjoy it on Saturday at 11 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm. As well as on Sunday at 11 am and 3 pm. Gather your family. It's sure to knock their socks off! (My husband and I had as much fun as the kids!) Stop reading this, right now, and get your tickets! You won't be sorry! Oh and dress up the kids and yourself! It makes it so much more fun!!

If you don't live near us, don't fret! You can still see it in other cities. They're on tour right into 2019!
