The walls of the Asani kettle are made of FDA approved glass. The bottom is made from food grade stainless steel. There's even a filter in the spout to keep out any minerals that may affect the taste of your hot water.
Heats Quickly
The 1500 watt heater in the Asani kettle heats water quickly and efficiently. You can also keep hot water hot, by using the Keep Warm function on your kettle. It will keep it at your desired temperature for twelve hours. The Asani Kettle also has a Boil Dry safety function to keep your kettle safe in the event that water should run out.
Cool to the Touch
The Asani Kettle is made with dual walls. The inner wall is made of glass to keep water pure. While the outer is made of plastic. This keeps it cool to the touch. It also helps protect the kettle in the event that you're clumsy (like me) and drop it.

Okay, so looks aren't everything. But we'd be lying if we didn't admit that we purchase items based on how appealing they are to the eye. The Asani Electric Glass Kettle is no exception. There are blue LED lights inside that illuminate the water. It's truly gorgeous, and very eye catching. My son and I love watching the water boil in the lights.
